The Olympics are here! I don’t know about you, but every time the games roll around, I get really excited…like giddy excited. I’m instantly transported back to the 80s when – as a special summer treat – my parents would move our rabbit ear antenna TV out to the back porch and we would watch together every night and I got to stay up late. The emotional highs and lows are second to none and I’m a sucker for the back story pieces on the athletes – usually I’m moved to tears. Apparently, I’m not alone in my Olympics geeking out…we are carrying the torch (pun totally intended…) this year and hosting an opening ceremony party – a tradition started by dear friends four years ago! More to come on the party details next week…but here’s a little sneak of the invite. Yes, you must come dressed as your favorite nation. And yes, there will be medals.
